Happy Birthday-MFT Birthday Project

Hey there! I hope you are having a fabulous week! I’m popping in today to share the card I made for the MFT Birthday Project. The challenge this month is to make a card with only sentiments, no images. I decided to go with patterned paper and a large sentiment. It’s a bit out of my comfort-zone thought.

I started with the striped paper from MFT’s Candyland paper pad. I trimmed it down to fit a A2 size cards, and allow for strips of MFT’s Silver Sparkle cardstock to the top and bottom.

Using more Silver Sparkle cardstock, I die cut Happy Birthday Script die. I also die cut it 3 times from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, and adhered them with liquid adhesive. I added the sentiment to the panel with more liquid adhesive.

Since the card is already pretty busy, I left it at that. Just added a Neenah card base. I wish the sun would have copperated this weekend. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Don’t forget to stop back on Friday for the next post in my Christmas Series. This post takes us back a few years, and features Concord & 9th’s Ornamental set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Nicole
