Welcome to 2019! I hope you guys have a fabulous year!
I’m feeling a little rough and am going to take this week off from blogging. But, I did want to pop in real quick and share this card I made, just for fun 🙂
The background was made using Concord and 9th’s Star Turnabout, stamped with Delicata’s Silver and Gold shimmer inks.
That adorable letterboard is my new favorite die, from The Stamp Market. I die cut the panel from Lawn Fawns Black Licorice cardstock, and the frame from Gina K Designs’ Kraft cardstock (the card base is the same cardstock). I actually layered the frame three times for this card.
The letters were die cut from the gold glitter cardstock in MFT’s Holly Jolly Glitter pack, and were glued on with liquid adhesive. I’m still struggling with too much glue, so next time I’m going to try either my Xyron sticker maker, or Stick it Adhesive.
The stars are left over die cuts from Christmas cards made using the die from Concord and 9th Star turnabout. I really do save EVERYTHING. It was a watercolor panel that had black Brusho and metallic ink spray, so it’s a pretty subtle effect.
Again, I hope you have a fabulous new year. I wish blessings and joy, and hope you continue the new year with my goofiness!
Thanks for stopping by!
