Happy Sunday! This is a quick post to share the cards I made for the 4 challenges MFT hosted.
I will say, with the all the challenges hosted yesterday, and the normal weekly challenges, I REALLY celebrated World Card Making Day. The only thing that saved me was having some pre-colored images and backgrounds.
Challenge # 1: ROYGBIV
This challenge involves ALL the colors :). Here is the card I made:
I had a panel of water color paper that I had blended Distress Inks on ages ago. I used MFT’s large Celebrate die cut the panel, and I also used a strip of the panel on the bottom. The card base is MFT Grout Gray. I added clear Wink of Stella to the die cut, and silver confetti sequins finish it off. This card actually led the way to my card for the second challenge….
Challenge #2: Die-Namics Designs
A card with all die cuts, no stamping. Funny, I have this rainbow panel with die cutting….
I added clear Wink of Stella on this one too. I also used the same color card base and sequins. Easy-peasy!
Challenge #3: By the Numbers
Make a card that features numbers!
This card came together a bit awkwardly. I put in the shaker element and string, then wasn’t sure what to do… I made this card for my nephew’s 20th birthday. I used the numbers 2 & 0 in the shaker too, but they are difficult to see. The glitter paper is MFT Cornflower Blue and the card base is MFT Sno-Cone.
Challenge #4: Make and Mail
Make a card and Mail a card
I used a Sno-Cone panel and a cloud die as the base for this Magical Dragon birthday card. I adhered the dragon with fun foam and the sentiment with foam tape. He has some clear Wink of Stella on his wings and silver Wink of Stella on his horns and spikes.
Well, that’s a quick run down of the cards I made for World Card Making Day.
Thanks for stopping by!
