Hey strangers! If you’ve been keeping an eye on my over on Instagram, you know I am now obsessed with Pinkfresh Studio’s Small Butterflies product suit. This set includes a one piece stamp, one piece hot foil plate, one piece die and a set of stencils to color in the images (all sold separately). I’m not an affiliate, it’s just an awesome product suit.
As luck would have it, the July Challenge from Pinkfresh Studio’s is Butterflies. Here is the challenge graphic.
I went crazy with these products. I foiled a TON. I’m sharing my favorite here, but check out IG for more. Most of the cards are all Pinkfresh Studios products, but there are a few cards that mix products.
Trust me, it was really difficult to pick a favorite. I picked this one because it’s so…fluffy.
I started off with the butterflies. I foiled the Small Butterflies plate on white Cardstock with Spellbinder’s Speckled Prism hot foil. Then I inked up the images with some Pinkfresh Studio and Altenew inks (I’m sorry, I didn’t write al the colors down, but I think the purples are Candy Volet and Lavender. The grays are Altenew). Once I had the images colored, I die cut them.
The background is the Simply Diamonds die cut from white cardstock and added it to a note card made with the same Cardstock. I cut the Curvy Leaves die set from MFT’s Cool as a Cucumber Cardstock (sorry, it’s discontinued) and Lawn Fawns Pearlescent vellum. I tucked the leaves into the diamond background.
The sentiment is from Perfect Sentiments and was hot foiled with Spellbinder’s Prism hot foil. I stacked it three times to give it dimension, and added it to the note card. Then I added my butterflies, with Scar-Tape. I only adhered the butterfly bodies, with the wings folded up for dimension. I pretty much did that to every butterfly card I made. It makes such a huge impact in the look of the card.
That completes my card for the Pinkfresh Studio July Challenge. Check out my Instagram for more butterfly cards!
Thanks for stopping by!
