Well hello there Friday. Welcome back (you too, blog guest). Today is another sort of new challenge. Concord & 9th posted a challenge on their social media last week. This one is to make thank you cards for grocery store workers. I’ve already left a couple of cards with my local grocery store. However, I need to go to the pharmacy, which is in the grocery store, so one more card won’t hurt 🙂
Like almost everyone, I got my hands on the Concord & 9th Rainbow Turnabout. Although, I kicking myself for not grabbing the Brighter Days set as well (I did order it when it came back in stock). I stamped the rainbow on some Neenah using Altenew Heart Beat, Lime, Citrus and Turquoise inks (I copied Jennifer McGuires video). I trimmed the panel down and matted it with C&9th Silver glitter cardstock, cause who wouldn’t pair a rainbow with glitter?
The cloud shape is from C&9th Rainbow Wishes, cut from some Neenah. I inked the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink, then stamped the sentiment from C&9th Filled In Florals with Altenew Jet Black ink. I added a silver glitter lining to the cloud too. The cloud was added to the card with some foam circles.
I finished up the card with some Studio Katia Silver Sparkle gems, and a Gina K Design Blue Raspberry card base.
This is one super happy card! I mean, rainbows…glitter…gems! I hope my pharmacy likes it!
Thanks for stopping by and stay safe!
