Hello, and happy Monday. I’m on vacation from my day job, so I’m in a pretty good mood. That, and my daughter is back home. She got here late last night. Now we can have Christmas.
Since I’m on vacation, I’m keeping the post short this week. I want to enjoy this time with my family. So, today’s post is a quick one, featuring the card I made for this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge 468.

Here is my card:

I started out with a panel of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. I added the lighter stars with MFT’s Star Celebration and Golden Glitz Delicata ink. Leaving the stencil in place, I added some Gina K Design Gold Glitz Glitter gel in a strip down the side.
While the glitter gel was drying, I worked on the sentiment. I die cut MFT’s Hooray from Brushed Gold cardstock, along with more Neenah. I layered the sentiments together with liquid adhesive. For the rest of the sentiment, I die cut a fishtail strip, stamped the sentiment from MFT’s You Wow Me with Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Gold embossing powder. I added it to the Hooray, with foam tape to support the gaps between the letters.

I added the panel to a Kraft card base with fun foam, using score tape. Oh, I did add more gold Delicata ink to the fishtail strip, so it wasn’t so stark against the background.
I liked the way this panel came out, I made a second one. The only change was that I used MFT’s Blueberry cardstock. I can’t wait to turn it into a card.
Thanks for stopping by!
