The sales and fun continue! Today’s freebie from Scrapbook.com is a full set of Ranger Distress Crayons.
I’ve never used Distress Crayons before, so I was really excited when Scrapbook.com sent me a set! I watched a couple of videos, then went to town.
First, I played around with some of the crayons. I added Fired Brick, Evergreen Bough & Crushed Olive to some Distress Watercolor cardstock. Then I sprayed it with water and used a water brush to pull the color down the cardstock.
This is going to be fun! I just happened to receive Concord & 9th Tall Type Alphabet dies, and decided to watercolor two panels and die cut some messages.
My original plan was to die cut the letters, but when I saw the negative pieces, I knew I had to use them too! This card is Evergreen Bough, with C&9th Pearl Glitter cardstock under the negative piece. The Holly is from C&9th Holly Berry Turnabout bundle. The card base if MFT Wild Cherry cardstock.
This card features Lawn Fawn’s Pearlescent vellum under the negative piece. The snowflakes are from C&9th Stocking Stuffers, cut from pearlescent and regular vellum. The card base if MFT Crandberry cardstock.
The crayons are so creamy, and react so well to water. I will play with these more, when I have more time.
I recommend taking advantage of the sales, and adding this freebie as well!
Thanks for stopping by!
