Thankfully- Simon Says Stamp

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! Today’s post is a quick one, to share the card I made for Simon Says Stamps Work it Wednesday challenge. This month, the theme is Autumn & Gratitude.

My card is very similar to a card a made a few weeks ago. I’m a really big fan of this Picket Fence Studios Leaf Picture Frame stamp.

I had a watercolor panel left over from the last time I played with this stamp. This panel was made with brown Brusho Crystals, added to Distress Watercolor cardstock, and spritzed with water. I stamped the leaf frame on the watercolor panel with Versamark ink, then embossed the image with Hero Arts Gold embossing powder. I didn’t stamp the image very good the first time, due to the textured paper, so I tried to line up the stamp and restamp it. I did a pretty decent job of it, except for the bottom section.

I die cut the sentiment from Picket Fence Studio from Lawn Fawn’s Autumn Sparkle cardstock, and several more times from orange cardstock, to layer together. I die cut the shadow from vellum. I used liquid adhesive to add the sentiment over the leaf frame.

To finish off the card, I added the watercolor panel to a Gina K Design Tomato Soup card base, and added Studio Katia Gold Glitter gems.

I love these watercolor panels. They have such a variety of color.

Thanks for stopping by,

Nicole
