Happy World Card Making Day!

Hello and welcome back! I’m popping in today as it’s a very special day in the card making world. I’m celebrating by spending some time in my favorite place:

It’s a bit messy at the moment (to me, I know I’m weird). I have so many project ideas, I keep pulling out stamp sets and piling them up on the bookcase.

I also popped on because there are some great sales going on. I’ll be sharing a post later this week featuring a bunch of cards I made last weekend, when I was crafting just for fun. I used a bunch of older Christmas projects, some that are on sale today. I thought I would pop on, share the cards (details on how I made the cards will be in the post later this week). I’ll include links to the products as well. Most of the links are to Scrapboo.com, but a couple are to Concord & 9th (those items are’t on sale, but are not available at scrapbook.com. All of the prices in this post are only for the World Card Making Day sale. If you are reading this post at a later date, the prices may be incorrect.

First up is Concord & 9th’s Snowflakes Turnabout $15.98 at Scrapbook.com

This card also uses C&9’s Ribbon and Banners Die, $7.19, and a sentiment from C&9s Christmas Cheer Turnabout $15.98. I used Brusho Crystals for this background.

This card features the sentiment from Holly Berries Dies and some Lawn Fawn Pearlescent vellum. $5.89 at Scrapbook.com The snow flakes are from C& 9th’s Wintry Edge die.

More Snowflake turnabout. This one features the die that was sent out in September as the free with $60 reward. If C&9th has any left, the will add them to the shop on 10/9.

Next up, Christmas Cheer!

This card features the Christmas Cheer Turnabout ($15.98), and the sentiment from Holly Berries. I used C&9th Tutu Glitter cardstock

More Christmas Cheer Turnabout, with the Ribbon and Banners die.

I have more background to use, but wanted to give you some ideas. I know there are a lot of great new holiday releases coming out, but if you are on a tight budget (like I am) you can purchase some of the really cool stamps from last year. T

I’m going to try to use the rest of my backgrounds this weekend, so I can share my post with details this week. It’s going to be a lot of information, and I’m still sick, but I have an idea to use a new format that may make it less work

There are a bunch of other great sales going on. The links below are not affiliate links (the scrapbook.com and C&9 links are).
