Sorry for all the confusion. As I said in my earlier post, I asked MFT to take down my original card, as it broke the rules of the contest. I also didn’t want anyone to think I was trying for another opporunity by changing my design, so it’s almost exactly the same. The only thing I changed was using MFT’s Starry Circle die and I used Distress Watercolor cardstock instead of Neenah for the watercolor panel.

I started out creating a new watercolor panel with the above mentioned Distress Watercolor cardstock and Blue Blitz Nuvo Shimmer Powder. I set that aside to dry and started work on my spinner components. I made it exactly the same, cutting the Mini Balloon Shaker frame from MFT Silver Sparkle cardstock twice.

As you can see, the frames are too narrow to cover up the border of the shaker pouches. So, I trimmed two pouches down to fit the frames.

I glued the frames to the pouches with liquid adhesive. Once that dried, I added Lucy’s Cards gems to one side, and the transparent thread to the other side. Then, I used more liquid adhesive to glue to two pouches together.
I die cut a circle from the watercolor panel using the Starry Circle outline die, then die cut the same from a Neenah Classic Crest Solar white card base. I added the shaker pouch to the card base, using my glass mat to line it up.

Using foam tape, I added my watercolor panel to the card base. I stamped the sentiment from MFT You Wow Me on some blue cardstock I die cut using a sentiment strip from MFT Vertical Hearts in a Row, with Versamark ink. Then, I heat embossed it with Wow Opaque White powder.

I added the sentiment with foam tape, and another sentiment inside the card, from the same sentiment set. Check out that shimmer!
Thanks for sticking with me through this! Next time I’ll pay more attention to what I am doing.
Thanks for stopping by,
Nicole
