Life is Full of Beauty-Simon Says Stamps Challenge

Happy Wednesday morning! I’m so happy to have Dorian behind me. It was scary there for a little bit, with it heading right at us. Thankfully, it made that northern turn. Not gonna lie thought, I’m mentally worn out!

I did make a ton of cards while on house arrest. It was kinda chaotic, just making to stay busy. I may share some of them later this month, but I didn’t keep track of all the materials I used, so I may not have all the details.

Today I am getting my autumn on, and sharing the card I made for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge. This week the challenge is Anything Goes (woot) and the product to feature is Tim Holtz.

I’ve been blending ink more, now that I have blender brushes. I decided to blend some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink onto a panel of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, as a background for theses images from Hero Arts September 2018 My Monthly Hero kit. Once I had the ink blended, I sprayed it with some water to add texture.

While the panel was drying, I stamped the images with Hero Arts Intense Black ink, then colored them with Copic markers. Then I die cut the images and added foam tape.

Once the panel was dry, I die cut it with Hero Arts Rounded Rectangle infinity dies. I figured out the layout for the card, then stamped the sentiment from the MMH kit with Altenew Jet Black ink. Next, I added the images with foam tape, then added the panel to a MFT Cranberry card base. Some Studio Katia Gold Sparkle gems finish off the card.

I’m not usually a big fall crafter, but I seem to be feeling it this year. I find myself pulling out some fall sets and reaching for fall colors. What about you? Are you working on fall yet?

Thanks for stopping by!

Nicole
