I can’t believe it’s Monday already. I need more weekend. Seriously! I also can’t believe we are looking fall in the face. I’m not ready to make the switch yet, so I’m sharing a floral, springy card.
This card was made for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge. The theme for this week is Add a Die Cut, and the product focus is Memory Box. Since I don’t have any Memory Box products, I grabbed some Concord & 9th sets.

I stamped this background back in May, when I was making Mother’s Day cards. I’m guessing at the ink colors, definitely Delicata Golden Glitz, then Altenew Pink Pearl, Heart Beat and Olive. The Turnabout I used was from the Everyday Bouquet set. The cardstock is Gina K Design Barely There.
Using the thanks die also from Everyday Bouquet, I die cut the stamped image. I also die cut thanks from fun foam. I adhered the letters together with liquid adhesive and let it dry.

I trimmed down the stamped panel with MFT’s Mod Rectangle, and stamped the sentiment from the set with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I embossed the sentiment with Gina K Design Clear embossing powder.
I added the panel to a MFT Poppy cardstock with a tape runner, then added the letters back in with liquid adhesive.
I really like that the die cut sentiment doesn’t impede the stamping. And, of course this is one of my favorite color combinations.
The good news is that I have more stamped backgrounds to play with. I just need the time.
Thanks for stopping by!
