Happy half way through June! This weekend was the one year anniversary of living in our house. And, the Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge also started. So, pretty eventful!
Today I’m sharing the card I made for MFT’s Sketch Challenge 441. This sketch was pretty simple, and I really wanted to switch things up a little bit. Alas, I did throw in a watercolored background, but still switched things up a bit. Here is the sketch.

And…my card:

I had to grab this cute Birdie Brown set from May’s release. I’ve had these images from Bring Out the Sunshine colored since last month, just needed the time to put them to use. I though this sketch would help! They were stamped with Gina K Amalgam ink and colored with Copic markers. I cut them out with the matching dies.
I had a scrap piece of handmade watercolor paper with Blue Blitz Nuvo Shimmer Powder that I used for the top square. The bottom square is MFT Silver Sparkle cardstock. I adhered watercolor square to the silver one with Be Creative Double Sided tape. I used the same tape to add the squares to a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set with Altenew Jet Black ink. Then, I added my colored images to the card. I added some clear Wink of Stella to the flowers on the little girl, and in the basket.
Pretty simple. I love the pop of sparkle from the Silver Sparkle cardstock. I can’t wait to color more of this image, it was so much fun.
Thanks for stopping by!
