You’re Dandy-Hero Arts National Craft Month #4

I can’t believe this month is almost over. This year is flying by! I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a bit nervous about that.

Today I’m sharing my card for the last challenge of Hero Arts National Craft Month. This last challenge is Anything Goes, always a favorite.

I kept this card really simple. I had stamped and colored the images at the beginning of the month, in case I needed them. It worked out well this weekend, as I was really stumped on what to do. Here, let me show you.

As I mentioned, I had previously stamped the flowers from the December 2018 My Monthly Hero kit with Hero Arts Intense Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. I took a panel of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and masked off an area in the middle, then ink blended Hero Arts Deep Ocean ink with Life Changing Brushes (I find myself reaching for die inks for blending now that I have those brushes).

While I let the ink dry, I layered my images and added fun foam behind them (die cut from the coordinating dies). I used Stick It adhesive on both sides of the fun foam before I die cut it, to make life easier. Then I stuck the fun foam to the flowers.

Before I stamped the sentiment (from the same MMH kit), I laid out the images and stamped the sentiment. Then I removed the release paper and stuck the flowers down and pressed down really good to make them stick.

I wrapped up this card with a Gina K Designs Blue Raspberry card base and matching envelope.

Clean, simple and quick. Perfect for a weekend with missing mojo, but still a elegant card. I did add some Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers, of course after I took these pictures.

Thanks for stopping by!

Nicole
