Welcome to the weekend. I’m a little bummed, my daughter goes back to school tomorrow. But, at least I got to spend the week with her!
Since I really want to hang with her, I’m writing a quick post the share the card I made for Altenew’s March challenge.
Here is the inspiration image. I like these colors!

I really wanted to do something different this month, and this idea came to me while at work.

I started out by dry embossing the Spring Shower Cover die, then blending Altenew inks over the different shapes (Arctic, Coral Bliss, Vineyard Berry, Limeade and Fresh Leaf). It’s a messy look, but still cool.
Next, I die cut the same cover die from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and layered it over the ink blended panel. For the sentiment, I die cut a circle from more Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, stamped the sentiment from Altenew’s Crafty Life with Versamark ink and embossed it with Ranger Super Fine Gold powder.

I thought that the circle was too plain, so I die cut a slightly larger circle from MFT’s Poppy cardstock. I added the white circle to the poppy with thin fun foam, and more between the poppy and the card panel. The card base is more Poppy.
I’m really happy with how this card turned out. I’ve said that a lot recently, I think because I am surprised. I didn’t realize my mojo was missing, until I got it back, lol.
Thanks for stopping by!
