Happy Monday. I’m carrying the challenge extravaganza over from last week. Today is my card for the A Blog Named Hero’s February challenge.
This month, the challenge theme is Love is in the Air (anyone sensing an ahem Theme this month lol).

There is also a color pallet to go along.

I was originally going to use some images I already had colored from the October My Monthly Hero kit, but then I decided to use the Lucky Stars set instead.

I started out by stamping the constellation images from the set in Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Versamark ink, and embossing them with Hampton Arts Gold Sparkle powder (these pictures don’t do the sparkle justice). Next, I added Storm Cloud and Violet Brocade Nuvo Shimmer powers and sprayed with water.

While the panel was drying, I stamped the image of the boy and girl with Hero Arts Intense Black ink and colored them with Copic markers, to match the color pallet. I stamped the sentiment in Altenew’s Jet Black ink, and die cut it with a Fishtail Banner die from MFT.
I added the kids and the sentiment with foam tape, and the whole panel to a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card base. The envelope is Moonlit Fog from Gina K Designs.
I thought this was a really sweet design. A more simpler vision of love. And with the heart constellation, you literally have love in the air (I’m killing myself folks).
Ahhh, I should probably stop here… Thanks for stopping by!
