Hello! Sorry, I took another short break. I wore myself out last weekend, trying to do too much around the house. I’m back at it this week with a ton of challenge cards to share. Not only that, but a ton of cards for new babies.
Let’s kick it off with the card I made for the Pinkfresh Studios February challenge.
This month the theme is Love, and there are inspirational colors if you choose to use them.

There were two things that drove the design for my card. One, I had just purchased The Word Series-Dream stamps and dies, and two, I needed a baby card for a baby boy. I thought, what better symbol of love than a new baby?

I die cut the shape first, then went back and stamped the large Dream and image stamp with Versamark ink, embossing it with Wow Hologram Sparkle embossing powder. Then I did some light Copic coloring. Originally I wanted to use watercolor, but the die cut ended up smaller than I first thought.
I used the Swirls die set from Concord and 9th for the background, with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink blended over it. I also added silver sparkle cardstock behind the background.

I stamped the sub-sentiment from the Dream set in Versamark in on MFT’s Snow Cone cardstock and embossed it with Wow’s Opaque White Detail powder. I added the Dream and the smaller sentiment to the card with foam tape.
The card base is Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock and a Sea Glass Envelope from Gina K Designs.
This card came together pretty quickly, as you can probably tell by the few steps listed. I think it’s perfect and adorable for a new baby boy!
Thanks for stopping by!
