Hello and welcome back! How was your weekend? Mine was full of activity! I’m not sure where all the energy came from, but I got my daughter’s car ready to sell, painted an accent wall in the living room, and prepped the ceiling in the 1/2 bath to paint it. Oh, and I managed to make a few cards too, lol.
One of those cards was for the Where Creativity Meets C9 August challenge.
As you can see, this month’s challenge is my favorite, Anything Goes! Since it’s Concord & 9th’s birthday this month, I decided to make a Birthday Card.
For this card I used the Itty Bitty Burst turnabout with Altenews Tea Party ink set. The floral images are from the new So Happy For You Bundle, also stamped with the Tea Party ink, along with gold embossing.
The flowers were added with foam tape, along with the gold heat embossed sentiment. The card base is MFT’s Poppy, and the envelope is Gina K Designs Coral Reef. I brushed the flowers with clear Wink of Stella to add a little shimmer.
I really like this color combo! I’m usually a blue person, but coral is gorgeous.
Thanks for stopping by!
Nicole
I sure wish you could send some of your energy my way. š What a productive weekend you had! And I’m so glad you even found time to create some cards because this one’s a beauty! I love how you used Bitty Burst to ground your floral spray. Great idea! So glad you could join our Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge this month!
