Hello and welcome back! I had another busy weekend working on the house, but I managed to spend a little time in my craft studio too. I painted the door and trim for the master bath and had enough paint left to paint the trim on the outside of the doorway of my craft studio (the color I used was the same as the trim for the craft studio, Ultra White with silver sparkles). I had to use the paint up before the sparkle additive sat too long in the paint.
While I was waiting for the paint to dry (lol), I managed to make a quick card for this week’s sketch challenge. This one was an awkward one, since I don’t have the blueprints set that matches the sketch. I think I did a good job making due!
My card:
Can you believe I have had this Congratulations Circle Frame forever, and never got around to using it? Here it is, in all it’s pink, sparkle glory!
I started out by using the largest Mod Rectangle to die cut a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock panel, and then adhered a strip from All Over Roses patterned paper. Next, I die cut the circle from Cotton Candy Sparkle cardstock, and adhered it over the Roses strip with liquid adhesive (I’m testing Lawn Fawns glue). I adhered the white panel to a MFT’s Tickled Pink card base using fun foam, and added Lucy’s Card Rose Pink jewels.
There, a quick, pink card for MFT! And made in between layered of white sparkle paint for my bathroom. My kind of weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
Nicole
