This week is going so fast! I have to go back to work tomorrow, and I am not ready. Vacations always go so quickly.
Today I am sharing the card I made for this week’s SSS Wednesday Challenge. The challenge for this week is Frame it, and the featured products are Memory Box.
I don’t have any Memory Box products, but I did just get this gorgeous Ornamental Flower set from Altenew.
I stamped the flower with the Tea Party ink set, and the center using the lighter three inks from Deep Blue and Sweet Dreams. The leaves were stamped with Frayed Leaves, Forest Glade and Moss. I used some of the smaller leaf stamps and stamped them in MFT Grout Gray to create a background.
The Our Family Framed die was cut from MFT’s Brushed Gold cardstock and layered on the stamped panel with Scor Tape. The flower and leaves were added with foam tape. The work Thanks from Signature Words was also cut from the Brushed Gold cardstock, and adhered with Multi Matte Medium.
I added some accents with Honey Gold glitter Nuvo drops, and added the panel to a MFT Kraft card base. The envelope is matching MFT Kraft.
This card went a little more smoothly, but I still made a few mistakes. The sentiment should have been a little more to the left. I have to say, stamping that layered flower and leaves was really simple. The design and accompanying guide help tons.
Thanks for stopping by! Looking forward to seeing you again soon. I have a new craft room post coming soon.
