Here is a closer look at the stamps and dies. There are some awesome sentiments in this kit. I like “Chirping for you,” and “Spread Your Wings.” “You Are One Cool Chick,” is great too!

The woodgrain cardstock and inks. I haven’t swatched the inks yet, but they look pretty.

I’m struggling a bit with this kit, as I’m not really a bird person.  But, I did have one idea I was able to knock out pretty quickly.

My plan was to stamp the feathers, and use the die cut heart piece on a separate card, but I liked how it looked, keeping it together. I used Altenew ink for the feathers (Rose Quartz, Sunkissed, Buttercream, Minty Mint, Dew Drop, Sea Breeze  and Lavender Fields). For the bird and sentiment, I stamped it with Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear powder. I added some Lucy’s Cards Jewels in matching colors. I added the panel with fun foam to a Snow Cone card base.

This card was quick and fun to put together. I think I will be using the feathers more then the birds,  but I like the Hitchcock feel of the birds and the fonts.

Thanks for stopping by!
