Sorry for spamming you with post, but I really wanted to share a couple of additional releases with you. If my budget is suffering, then everyone should suffer!
Let’s talk about MFT’s January release first! This release is full of great valentines products! Here is their release blog post.
Confession: I am not a big heart person. There, I said it. However, there were still some great items that caught my eye.
I snapped up the Hearts in a Row vertical dies (the horizontal set is great too, but I tend to stick with vertical cards). I really like these sets because they include dies for thin sentiment strips!!! I can’t cut a straight line for a tiny sentiment to save my life. I’ve tried all sorts of cutting tools, it just doesn’t work. This set has both regular strips and fishtail strips. Awesome!
Another item I picked up was the From the Heart sentiment stamp set. There are so many sentiment in this set, you really get your money’s worth. These sentiments are great for other occasions too, not just Valentine’s Day. And the sentiments fit on the strips included in the Hearts in A Row die sets.
I had to get the Stitched Star Peekaboo Window die. This die cuts out a stitched star shape window which fits MFT’s Star Shaker pouches. It’s a great price and adds another option for creating shaker windows.
The last items I picked up are super cute and innovative. Not to mention tie in with MFT’s Free with $60 purchase die. It’s the Heart Maze Shapes!! Here is a card I made with the Circle mazes.
Can you imagine a heart shaped maze?!? These mazes fit perfectly into the Heart Shaped Shaker pouches. I grabbed both the white and the Wild Cherry options . The free with $60 die is the Stitched Heart Peekaboo Window, which fits the Heart Shaker pouches. Win-win! This die is only available while supplies last, but they usually offer the free with $60 die for sale the following month.
There are so many more great products I didn’t mention. Tons of cute stamp sets, a marble background stamp (already sold out) and so much more! Check it out!
Ok, now for Concord and 9th. This release has some great, innovative items as well. I did a lot of damage here and didn’t even make a dent in my wish list! Here is the link to the store and the new release.
This post is really long already, and I’m typing on my lunch break, so I’m only sharing the items I grabbed.
Let’s start with the gorgeous Monogram Collection. These are large stamps, one for each letter of the alphabet as well as a heart and ampersand. These are very similar to their Blooms Fill in background Stamp. The stamp fills in large square, leaving the area for the letter as well as some flower shapes blank. Small flower stamps are included to fill in the blank spaces. There are also sentiments to go with the letter. I grabbed the heart and the ampersand. The full alphabet would be great for party banners. There is a coordinating die set that I grabbed too (not one for each letter, but one die set that works for all of the collection). I really recommend checking out their site, I cannot do the stamps justice by describing them and I didn’t want to insert a possibly copyrighted photo.
I also ordered the Hearts & Love die set. This set cuts out a thin script word Love, as well as the shadow AND an outline of the shadow! They have this style of die in other words, and in this case I can show you the word lucky. Below I used the shadow with vellum and the thin part is glitter paper. I did not use the shadow outline here.
C&9th offers a free item with purchase of $60 or more as well, and this release is a stamp set called Love & Hugs. This is a small sentiment set but what really caught my eye was that it partners nicely with the Many Thanks dies. It also includes a pretty good size sentiment that says “Love & Hugs,” as well as some small heart stamps.
One item I didn’t get but was extremely tempted by was the Just Because Stamps and matching dies. I really like the foliage dies and could see them working for so many different projects! There is also a Heart Turnabout Stamp with tiny hearts, which is super cute! I just got the similar Polkadot Turnabout and haven’t had the chance to use it.
Ok, that was a lot of information but I think worth sharing! Please check out these releases they are amazing!! I will share what I make once my hauls come in.
Oh, honorable mention! CZ Designs just released the cutest stamp set called Heart Throb through Simon Says Stamps! It’s adorable!! I’m a big fan of Cathy and her designs. Especially her Sassy Sentiments.
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
