Welcome back! This week the SSS Wednesday challenge is Christmas (squeee)!
The product focus this week is Penny Black Products. Unfortunately I don’t have any of their products. I DO have some Christmas stuff though.
I used a panel I had made a little while ago (part of my Christmas prep). This panel was made with Concord and 9th’s Triangle Turnabout stamped once with Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink. I cut a smaller rectangle to create a little scene with some Mama Elephant’s Wooly Winter images I had previously colored. I used Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink to create some grass and then stamped the yarn in Altenew’s Ruby Red. I adhered the little lambs with fun foam and added the ball of yard with foam tape. The presents are tucked in flat.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn’s Frosty Fairies and was stamped in Altenew’s Ruby Red. I adhered the sentiment with foam tape. The card base is MFT’s Wild Cherry and I added some Lucy’s Cards jewels to finish it off.
I don’t know about you, but I think the little lambs are adorable! My favorite image from this set is the lamb wrapped up in Christmas lights (I stamped him on the envelope).
It was a busy card making weekend! But, having backgrounds made ahead of time and colored images ready made it a lot easier!
Thanks for stopping by! Hang around for some posts featuring the cards I made for Paper Smooches and Lawn Fawn’s challenges!
