The Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamps for this week is to “Pop it Up.” They are showcasing Lawn Fawn products this week.
This card may seem familiar. I’m using the same Lawn Fawn set I used for the Lawn Fawnatics challenge I shared with you last week.
This time I used MFT Sno-Cone cardstock, and blended Broken China Distress Oxide ink on it. Then I sprayed it with water and blotted it off. I’ll admit, I didn’t mean to blend the ink all over the panel, I meant to just ink the edges. But, I messed it up and ended up covering the panel.
I used some glitter paper from DCWV to create the snow covered hill, using MFT’s Snow Drifts. The images were previously colored with Copic markers, and I added shimmer pen to the berries and windows. The clouds were die cut from Hero Arts Nesting Clouds. I adhered the Lawn Fawn images with fun foam, to pop them up. I also used foam tape on the clouds. The sentiment from the set was also adhered with foam tape.
I finished off the card by adding drops of Nuvo Silver Moondust glitter drops as falling snow, and as snow hanging off of the little house.
Even though this card didn’t go quiet as I had planned, I had a lot of fun making it!
Thanks for stopping by!
