Lawn Fawnatics Challenge- Create a Scene

Happy Monday! Hope you are well. I wanted to share with you the card I made for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge- Create a Scene. The deadline was last night, but it’s a cute card.

I used Lawn Fawn’s Frosty Friends stamp and die set. I colored these images last week for the Daily Marker 30 day challenge, with Copic markers. I decide to stamp the stepping stones from LF’s Fairy Friends to add to the card.

To make the background, I used some MFT Sno-Cone cardstock, and dry embossed Lawn Fawn’s Puffy Cloud Borders dies and also used one to cut the white cloud piece.

All of the stamped and colored images where adhered with fun foam. I stamped the sentiment from the Frosty Friends set with Altenew Jet Black ink.

I added Glossy Accents to the berries. On the clusters with more then one berry, I only added the accents to one berry and let it dry overnight before I added the accents to the berries next to it. If you try to add the Glossy Accents to adjacent berries at one time, it all meshes together.

I adhered all of this to a white card base, and added Wink of Stella to the window. The berries received Wink of Stella before the Glossy Accents, and the fairies wings were colored with Silver Wink of Stella.

I haven’t shared this with you before, but I almost always stamp my envelopes to match the cards I make. Here is the envelope for this card.

We are all getting back on our feet and back to “normal,” after the mess that has been the last two weeks. Even though we didn’t get a direct hit from Irma, it’s still taken a little bit of time to recover. I can’t even imagine how those that were in the path of the storm are coping. I made a ridiculous amount of cards this weekend, which has helped a lot. Most of them are Christmas cards, which is my favorite holiday. I have some great products from Concord and 9th’s September release I want to share with you soon!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great week!

Nicole
